Green Cities’ Releases 2025 Environmental & Community Impact Report

The Green Cities Company is pleased to present our Annual Environmental & Community Impact Report for the 2025 reporting year. In this report we focus on the relationship between individual wellbeing and building performance. Through this lens, we identify and measure how buildings function as living systems and the factors that influence performance.

Green Cities defines a living building as a building that is intentionally designed and actively operated around the people who use it. It aligns the physical building, daily operations, and resident experience so that health, comfort, and reliability are delivered consistently. This alignment shows up in how buildings are maintained, how systems are managed, and how performance is tracked and improved.
